A fresh Adani flashpoint has emerged within the Congress camp. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has sharply attacked the Modi government, accusing it of using Adani’s money to finance its political structure. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has met Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani in Bengaluru, describing the interaction as a “courtesy call.” The meeting comes as Adani Enterprises has emerged as the lowest bidder for the proposed Hebbal-Silk Board tunnel road project in Bengaluru, though the contract has not yet been formally awarded.
