EPFO, insurers could become the next big growth engine for REITs and InvITs: Report

EPFO and insurers could emerge as key sources of fresh institutional capital for India’s REIT and InvIT market, with significant headroom under existing investment limits. The Avendus report estimates that even modest increases in permitted allocations could channel more than ₹1.2 lakh crore into the sector from EPFO and insurers alone.
