India's aviation sector is preparing for an unprecedented takeoff! Speaking at the Routes Asia 2027 curtain raiser, Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu revealed a massive masterplan to make India the world’s third-largest aviation market. The goal? A staggering 130 crore annual passengers and 400 operational airports by the year 2047. To hit these ambitious targets, India is currently developing 66 new airports and plans to build 100 more over the next decade alone.
