Indian Oil close to signing LPG import deal with Algeria’s Sonatrach for 2027: Report

India is turning to Algeria for LPG supplies as refiners seek to diversify sourcing after disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz exposed risks from heavy dependence on Middle Eastern suppliers. Indian Oil is expected to lift 45,000-55,000 tonnes of LPG a month from Sonatrach under the proposed 2027 deal.
