Nitin Gadkari On Flying Buses, Technology And The Future Of Mobility

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari shared a futuristic vision for mobility, saying he wants to explore the idea of flying buses that could carry hundreds of people above congested roads. Gadkari linked the idea to the broader role of technology, innovation and research in driving change. He also spoke about the need to communicate important social and human values to the younger generation in formats they engage with today. Gadkari highlighted short-form videos and reels as a way to take ideas and teachings from figures and texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Gautam Buddha, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Nelson Mandela and others to young audiences. His larger message was about embracing change while using technology to spread ideas around humanity, cleanliness, social welfare and national welfare in ways that resonate with a digital-first generation.
