PM Modi At BRICS Summit: “From Voice To Impact, From Privilege To Partnership”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is ready to take the lead in advancing the interests of the Global South. Speaking at the BRICS Summit 2026, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation and said the shared future of nations must also mean a shared right to shape that future. He called for BRICS to move from voice to impact and from privilege to partnership as the grouping marks 20 years. Modi stressed that cooperation among BRICS nations should remain focused on creating a more inclusive global order and ensuring a stronger voice for the Global South.
