PM Modi, Iranian President Pezeshkian hold talks on West Asia, bilateral ties

The meeting was held hours after Pezeshkian arrived in the national capital for the summit and marked his first visit to India as Iranian president. It was also the second meeting between the two leaders in less than two weeks, after they met on August 31 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek.
