ST certificate found invalid after 30 years: SC protects employee’s pension but bars future caste benefits

The Supreme Court protected the pension and retiral benefits of a municipal engineer whose ST certificate was invalidated after more than three decades of service. The court used Article 142 to grant limited relief while making clear that his ST status was not restored or validated.
