UCC In All NDA States By 2029, Zero Tolerance Towards Terrorism Says Home Minister Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has already been introduced in several states and expressed confidence that it will be implemented in all 21 states governed by the BJP-led NDA before 2029. Shah also highlighted the government’s approach towards national security, citing the surgical strikes, air strikes and Operation Sindoor as examples of a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. He said security has been prioritised across various sectors, while outlining the government’s broader focus on strengthening national security and governance.
